This week, I’m sad to say, I’ve had my eye on a few things. Having been on holiday, I’ve had time to scrawl the internet for special little buys and items I’d forgotten about. So, here goes…
I’ve found my new favourite beautiful Dr Martens Green Leather Satchel, whether I’ve been inspired by Cambridge and their colleges, it’s fair to say this satchel is simple and elegant. Designed by none other than Dr Martens, you know this bag will last a lifetime. The colour works really well too as opposed to the usual brown leather too – £125.00
I saw this Louche Ditta Hawaiian Print Dress in Company and it really stuck out at me. I already own a dress very similar to this but it can never hurt to have too much Hawaiian print (or can it?). The sweetheart neckline is perfect for a feminine look with a nipped in waistline and subtle 50s flair. Team with chunky sandals whilst on holiday and some bold lippy for a vintage feel – £49.00
Be Awesome: Modern Life for Modern Ladies by Hadley Freeman is a book I’ve been dying to read since I finished Caitlin Moran’s How to be a Woman. I find both writers fascinating and they really do wonders for the female race – true inspirations – £8.96
Covering topics that are vital for any modern woman to consider, this book tackles body image, sex, dating and feminism head on with Hadley’s funny, smart and heartwarming attitude.
Come on now, you know you want a Cozy Mug Sweater by mugsweater too, this needs no copy – just look at them and the colours you can have – £11.08
Hand-made to order.
If you have a spare minute over the next few days, take a look at the Tatty Devine Sale. I know I include them a lot but I really do love the women who run this company, their jewellery quality and their designs. (I also like the prices most the time)
I also need to pick up two of the best films I have ever seen on BluRay: Silver Linings Playbook and Ruby Sparks. I love movies with meanings and they both have these in spades.
Lastly, take a look at MeeMee’s collections for inspiration, after discovering them over the last couple of days, I’m in love with MeeMee’s Festival picks. Just wish I was at one, I’m never going a year without a festival again.
What are you wishing on this Wednesday?
