It’s been a long few weeks especially with my Birthday and lots of celebrating with many lovely friends. So, this one’s been in my draft section for a while but it is definitely worth unleashing upon the world.
I want to kick off with my favourite jeweller of late, Sour Cherry, they are relatively new to me and I was drawn to them as another version of the Tatty Devine designs I can’t get enough of. However, this colourful company does quirky designs and at half the cost, which is great if you’re anything like me and you have to pay for far too much each month but still want to treat yourself.
This piece, by far, was my favourite but I did happen to get it from Green Ranger for my Birthday. It shouldn’t then be on a wish-list but I wanted to spread the word. This Little Mermaid-inspired necklace is cute, colourful and looks great with a simple outfit. A real stand-out piece. At just £15, you know you want it… Sour Cherry Small Mermaid Necklace.
Oh, and these charming matching earrings too. I didn’t get these to go with my necklace (I got a Lucky Dip bag that Sour Cherry did have on their website) but I shall be snapping them up any day now. These lilac shells make the perfect combination, how could you resist…?
Sour Cherry Plastic Shell Earrings – £4.99.
I spotted these last week on my hunt to find an outfit for my Aunt’s ‘Black and White Birthday’ themed party. They are shiny, clean-cut and a perfect fit alongside the A/W 2013-14 trends. I can never have too many pairs of slippers and these feel less masculine than a pair of brogues, that, sadly, make my legs look a bit more stumpy than I’d like. I plan to team them with a 1950s-style striped dress, cinched in at the middle with a splash of red lipstick.
Next Mono Brogue Slippers – £28.00, sizes 35 – 43.
Lastly, I wanted to share my favourite pieces from Topshop’s I Heart Candy Range. This unique and kitsch collection is definitely one to watch as they are selling like hot-cakes in all the stores I’ve been to.
I’d definitely wear these leggings to a cheeky Roller Derby bout, any day of the week. I’m always on the hunt for a different pair and this fits the bill perfectly. Time to make the other team salivate a little 😉
Sweet Candy Print Leggings – £22.00, sizes 4 – 16.
I love this as a playful piece of office wear. Always a fan of the pencil skirt, as I’m a fairly curvaceous pear-shape, this item couldn’t help but put a smile on my face on even the dreariest of Monday mornings.
Marshmallow Print Tube Skirt – £28.00, sizes 4 – 16.
Lastly, the pièce de résistance, a beautiful dolly mixture Tea Dress. I’d definitely wear this on a date night if I wanted to impress whilst showing the gent a bit of my eccentric personality with some bright pumps and toned-down jewellery (as if I have any).
Sweetie Print Tea Dress – £46.00, sizes 6 – 14.
What are you wishing for this week?
