These are a few items I’ve bought recently, that I am kind of proud of, in a girly way, which is rare for me. Since starting a proper job, I figured I’d need some decent clothes to actually work in. Hence the below…
Polkadot dress – Primark £10
Frilly Mint Green Blouse with Peter Pan Collar – Tesco £12
Flowery Skater Skirt – TopShop £6
Orange Skirt with bow – TopShop £6
Orange Faded Dress – TopShop £10
Pink Blouse with no arms – Urban Outfitters £15
Amazingly, I’ve managed to string items together on a shoe string budget. Tescos, Primark and sales in Urban Outfitters and TopShop definitely helped. I have been pleasantly surprised by cheap high street fashion, I used to be a TopShop devotee but since then I’ve grown to love little cheap ditties and eBay, what with my Dr Marten purchase, that I couldn’t have been more than happy with. Though, I am still feeling the need for an image overhaul. I did dye my hair purple today though, maybe this is step one…
Also, if you know me at all, which I’d like to think you do – I LOVE accessories… So, I kind of splashed out a tiny bit on the above to match my outfits (or clash with them as usual).
Plastic Rings – Accesorize £3
Heart Necklace – Accesorize £2.50
Gingerbread Earrings – Vintage Market in Shoreditch £5
My wardrobe is amassing but not in the way I’m liking… maybe I need a cull?
